Install the plugin

  1. Download cartgeni.zip from your account.
  2. WordPress admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin → pick the ZIP.
  3. Click Activate.
  4. A Cartgeni menu appears in the sidebar.

Get a free license

  1. Click Cartgeni in the WP sidebar.
  2. Enter your email → Get Started — It's Free.
  3. A free license is issued instantly. No credit card.

Your free license includes 100 conversations/month on Cloudflare Llama 3.3 70B.

Index your content

  1. Cartgeni → Content → Index all content.
  2. Wait a few seconds (sites with 50+ posts queue to background cron automatically).
  3. From then on, posts auto-reindex on save.

Customize the widget

Cartgeni → Settings → Widget: position, color, greeting, logo, suggested prompts (use Label → URL for click-out links), dark mode, lazy-load, exclude on specific pages, pre-chat form.

Upload documents

PDFs, TXT, Markdown, HTML — Cartgeni → Documents. Files < 2 MB index instantly; larger ones queue to WP-Cron.

Fine-tune Q&A

Cartgeni → Fine-tune — add Q&A pairs the bot will use over generic crawled content. Each entry is embedded + boosted 1.2× in similarity search.

WooCommerce tools

When WooCommerce is detected, 7 tools auto-register: search_products, recommend_products, get_related_products, get_product_variations, lookup_order (auth-aware), add_to_cart, get_cart_contents. The widget renders product cards in chat.

Webhooks

Cartgeni → Webhooks: define a tool name, description, URL + optional HMAC secret. The AI calls it like any other tool — useful for Zapier / Make / N8N triggers.

Human takeover

Cartgeni → Conversations → click Take over. AI pauses, you type live, the visitor sees your messages within 5s via polling. Toggle back to hand control to the AI.

Upgrade to a paid plan

Cartgeni → Upgrade → pick Basic / Pro / Business → secure checkout on LemonSqueezy → plan upgrades automatically within seconds.
